Junius Brutus Booth
Quick head study of Junius Brutus Booth, he was John Wilkes Booths' pappy. Apparently he wasn't a big fan of the guv'mint either and sent a threatening letter to then President Andrew Jackson back in the day.
Favorite line from the Wiki page:
"It was often difficult for his friends to tell whether he was drunk or crazy."

Great sketch Ryan, really nice style! Nice and loose yet solid! It's cool to see you post this kind of work . . . . looking forward to seeing more! Oh, and I think Sean Penn could play this guy in a flick!
Who'da thought that such a nut would come from such good stock? Love the sketch.
Very very nice Ryan!
nice one Ryan! I especially like the overall gradual value shift from his forehead to his chin area.
Fantastic works....i love all.
greetings from Brazil.
Cheers!!!
Man, I went to wikipedia and learned all about those guys. It is crazy how it is almost like having someone from Hollywood assassinate the president. Great piece by the way!
This is a great piece. Where do you come up with this stuff man?
Boothe I could see,....but his dad? Nice!
Excellent mixture of fine artwork and history.
He looks a lot like Pete Townsend.
Nice Piece Ryan , i hope that you make it with colour.
.Congratulations anyway
Great values and expression!!
is there somewhere in SLC where some of you guys get together and draw that I may be welcome to? I'd love to rub shoulders with some of you and your "link" friends and get some good direction on my art. I'm a little older and work so college courses aren't what I'm looking for.
If you can offer any suggestions I'd appreciate it.
Thank you

I'm not sure which is better; your great drawing or his name! Junius Brutus, wow.
I think you should illustrate a history book. Call it "Crazy People in the History of the United States"
